Course Objectives
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

Understand and apply relevant legislation, including LOLER, PUWER, HASAWA, and BS7121.

Define the roles and responsibilities of an appointed person in lifting operations.

Conduct risk assessments and develop detailed lift plans.

Calculate load weights, centre of gravity, and stability factors.

Select, inspect, and ensure the safe use of lifting equipment.

Effectively communicate lift plans and safety procedures to the lifting team.

Oversee lifting operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
