CCNSG Safety Passport Course
The CCNSG Safety Passport is a nationally recognised, ECITB accredited qualification required for access to many UK engineering construction, industrial, nuclear and renewables sites. It provides a consistent safety baseline for contractors, operatives and supervisors working in high risk environments.
This two day CCNSG course covers essential health, safety and environmental awareness, including modern site safety systems, legal responsibilities and expected behaviours in line with HSE requirements. It is designed to ensure individuals can work safely on site and meet client and regulatory expectations.
Bowtec delivers CCNSG Safety Passport training at our Bridgwater and Pyle training centres, with regular course dates available. The qualification is commonly required before site induction and is often checked prior to granting site access.
On successful completion, delegates receive a temporary CCNSG Safety Passport valid for six weeks, followed by the full CCNSG card valid for three years, issued by ECITB.

Course Objectives
By the end of the CCNSG Safety Passport course, delegates will be able to:
-
Understand expected safe behaviours and standards on UK engineering construction and industrial sites
-
Identify common site hazards, including confined spaces, excavations and asbestos
-
Apply safe practices for working at height, use of access equipment and basic lifting activities
-
Understand Permit to Work (PTW) systems and the importance of following safe systems of work
-
Recognise risks associated with manual handling, hazardous substances, noise and hand arm vibration
-
Understand the legal framework for health, safety and environmental responsibilities on site
This learning is designed to support site access, safe working practices and compliance with client and regulatory expectations.
